Jim Hartley is an accomplished association executive with more than 25 years of experience and a record of success.

Most recently he was the Executive Vice President of The National Exchange Club, a national service organization of 700 clubs and more than 21,000 members in the US and Puerto Rico.

Previously he was the Executive Director of the Ohio Society of Association Executives and lead this 650 member society for the state's professional and trade association community. Prior to this, he had been Vice President of Membership & Technology for The Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, the nation's 4th largest state CPA society for 14 years. The Ohio Society of CPAs is identified as one of nine “remarkable organizations” in the nation in the book -- 7 Measures of Success: What Remarkable Associations Do That Others Don’t  -- a groundbreaking research study published by American Society of the Association Executives (ASAE).  The organization is cited for exceptional member service and successful strategies for adapting to change.

Jim is a member of ASAE and a past member of the Association Societies Alliance (ASA). He has served as a member of the ASA executive committee and treasurer for the organization. In 1999, he earned ASAE's Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation.
